I live in the UK and have been trying for months to find a waterproof boot for my spaniel, who keeps cutting his pads and cracking his claws when he chases through the undergrowth in our local woodland. To ensure quick healing, it is necessary to keep his feet clean and dry, which is impossible in boots that are not completely waterproof. None of the other boots I bought have been waterproof. There are many dog owners in the UK, who are looking for waterproof boots for their dogs, but they have to make do with second best. Vets in our area often sell dog boots at their surgeries, but they are totally useless, as they don’t stay on and aren’t waterproof. I finally found PawTectors! I have two very active Springer Spaniels who already have your fleece snowsuit with the hood. I have one in gray and navy blue and one in natural and chocolate brown. I live in Gloucester, MA so it gets mighty cold here. These coats are a fabulous product. They keep Anabelle and Piper dry and warm as toast! Thanks for making such a great, functional product. I bought a package of PawTectors for my 13 year old Golden who has degenerative myelopathy. Dallas was dragging his back feet, and still attempting to run and play. He was creating sores on both back feet and in the nail beds. With PawTectors he can not only play without injury, but he has considerably more traction that helps him on hard floors and concrete. We want to thank you for PawTectors. We have a miniature schnauzer that is close to 17 years old. We have tile throughout our house and she had gotten to the point that her back legs would do the splits after she had walked only a step or two. I was having to carry her outside to go to the bathroom. I found your product and tried them on her back feet only. She is able to walk around again and never tries to take off the PawTectors, I think she realizes that they enable her to walk again. We wanted to let you know how they literally “saved her life”. I would like to speak about the great help your boots have been to my dog, Razz, who has neurological problems in his hind end. Your PawTectors are a life saver, they keep his back legs from slipping out from under him. As Razz got older and his back legs started to slip around on tile and hardwood floors I looked for a solution. I came upon your product purely by accident and it did not specifically talk about this particular use, but I thought I’d try it simply because Razz needed some traction. It has gotten to the point that I take the boots off at night so he can sleep and his feet can breathe, but in the morning, he will stand on an area throw rug and whine until I put his boots on. We call them his “bionic booties” because he feels invincible once they are on. As dogs age, us humans will go to great lengths to assist them and your product has done that for me. SG

I just wanted to say that your product PawTectors has basically saved my dog’s life. He is a 15yr old German Shepherd who was captured wild in the mountains living on his own. I adopted him and basically trained him to be a wonderful family pet. Since he has aged 7yrs old now to age 15 he has developed some hip dysplasia. I found your product and installed the new PawTectors on his rear paws and found that when he drags his paws on the hard surface that the PawTectors keep his nails from grinding down too much. I live in Michigan where the weather is as unstable as a house of cards. Over the past month the weather has been snowy and cold. I take my Labradoodle, Jack, for a walk at least twice a day. We live on a golf course so most of the time he is off the leash and running to either play fetch or chase deer. He used to have to stop and lay down and pull the ice balls from in between his toes at least every 10 minutes. Your PawTectors have been a perfect remedy. It took him 5 minutes to actually get used to them and now he just hands me his paws to put them on. Thank you, JK

Back in 1995 or so I bought your fleece WeatherMaster for my two Kerry blue terriers when I moved upstate NY. One in yellow, one in red. They kept all the snow and ice off their fur and kept them dry when they played in the snow. I now have a Labradoodle, Magnolia, and I have her in one of the coats. We love this coat, it is red fleece with a black knitted trim at the bottom of the legs and around the hood. Thanks, great product! CR

My standard poodle is over 14 years old, and he is becoming paralyzed. He needs the PawTectors so that all his skin isn’t ripped off the top of his feet when he drags them. I have bought several sets of PawTectors. They are nice and thick and great for protection. Thank you, JG

I currently own a set of large pawtectors that I utilize on my golden doodle during wintry weather and sometimes when it rains. I really like to use them because he has fuzzy feet and it keeps his feet from getting muddy. I live in the Atlanta area and we had allot of snow last week so I pulled out his boots to use since it keeps snow from sticking to his paws. Thank You BG

Hello- Boscoe Brown is a 9 year old chocolate lab. Boscoe recently had a little stroke and has continued to have seizures. Because Boscoe is so weak right now, he has been having trouble getting up from our tile floor (he's unable to get traction), and sometimes his paws slip out from under him while he's walking and he falls down. Our vet recommended that we get him some "shoes." We tried another brand first and immediately had to return them to the store...they wouldn't stay on for more than 3 steps. Then we tried Pawtectors. They're great - Boscoe is able to get up from the floor by himself and he's walking around the house without slipping. Just wanted to say thank you for a great product! CM

Your paw protectors are a great idea. I purchased them when my Giant Schnauzer had a toe amputated. I put one on when she goes outside. I use a different one to put on her when I leave the house so she won't be able to pick at her stitches. Your concept with them is great. MK

Without his shoes, the top of his feet get scraped up and he can get no grip on our solid surface floors. My dog wears them every moment he is not sleeping. LC

Dear Sirs, I am e-mailing you in regards to your dog boots. My dog is a 6 year-old Chocolate Cocker Spaniel named Ladye. We live in New England, so our winters are as hard as they get. Every year, we buy a new pair of your "Paw-Tector" boots. I have been completely satisfied with your product. When we first purchased these new style boots, they worked very well. We love your product. We were never aware of the problems that simple road salt cause to our dog`s feet. Your product has allowed us to feel comfortable in the knowledge that our dog is well protected from the harsh New England winters. Not to mention, when it rains outside, we can take her for a walk and not worry about her tracking mud and dirt all over the carpet and our custom built furniture. My dog, Othello, has been wearing your Pawtectors for several months now and they are really wonderful. He has degenerative spinal mylopathy and as part of that his back paws "knuckle" quite a bit. I bought a set of Pawtectors for my dog, Rocky, and we like them very much. The Velcro fastening strips are very effective. Rocky has long nails (he was born with them and clipping doesn't cause the quick to recede). Now I want to get a new set for him -- my dog's size is (M) (black). Thank you. RJ

I had to write you to let you know Paw-Tectors are such a life saver for me and my dog. I have tried several other boots on my dog and the Paw-Tectors are the only ones I've found that stay on her feet. She has two pairs of black ones, pink, and red ones. If you made other colors I would buy them in all colors. They keep her feet dry and clean. We live in Washington state so you know about all the wet weather we get here. It didn't take long for my dog Bella to get use to them. She runs, jumps, and walks with them on and they still don't come off. Thank you, PM

In January 2009, I wrote to you regarding the usage of PawTectors. At that time, we had just adopted my brother in law's dog when he joined the Army. I was worried about making the straps too tight or causing Duke to overheat. The booties had been purchased to prevent Duke from tearing up the hard wood floors. Well, we ended up using them to keep his feet clean when he went outside in rain or snow. They worked great!! I am writing to you to let you know how valuable the PawTectors have been. Recently, his booties were put to the ultimate test. Our house (neighborhood) was destroyed in a tornado. Duke was somewhat traumatized. As my husband helped our neighbors and I tried to salvage what I could, Duke wouldn't leave our sides. I had put the booties on him the moment we walked out of our shelter (bathroom) until the moment we packed the last box at our house. He has walked through glass, bricks, metal scraps, wood fragments, and over many nails. Those booties protected his feet from everything!! We had numerous volunteers in our neighborhood helping all of us pick up. Duke was known as "the dog in shoes." Everyone asked about the booties and Duke was happy to show them off and get an extra head pat from everyone. We have used the same pair of booties since 2009. They have been washed numerous times and have held up great (the fuzzy lining isn't as fuzzy, but that is it). Now, I am going to get Duke a new pair of booties. Hello, This product has greatly improved the quality of life of our two year old Goldendoodle who has both a displaced and dislocated hip. Surgery is not an option at this time due to the cost and as her paw drags and her knuckles then bleed, this product has prevented this from occurring. We purchased the set of 4 but only need to use on the one hind paw. What a fantastic idea!
